Hi, I’m Kristin!

And this is Pickle, my co-therapist.

Long before the clinical degrees and the office space, I was that person… the one who couldn’t stand to see someone carrying a heavy burden alone. That 'quiet thread' eventually pulled me toward therapy, but my own path has had its share of plot twists. Navigating a late ADHD diagnosis and the deep work of untangling my own trauma taught me exactly what it’s like to work double-time just to mask and keep up.

Today, those lived-in experiences are the heartbeat of my practice. For over 15 years, I’ve combined clinical training with a steady hand and a lot of curiosity. I’m here to honor the fact that your unique path (or your child’s) doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s to be right.

WHAT TO EXPECT

For Kids: Play with a Purpose

Just like us, every child has their own way of making sense of a world that can often feel overwhelming. I use an integrative approach that meets them exactly where they are, whether that’s through creative play, quiet creation, or gentle conversation. In the therapy room, these aren't just activities; they are your child’s natural language for processing big emotions and practicing autonomy in a space that’s entirely theirs. I’m here as a steady, patient guest to honor their pace and provide a safe harbor where they get to lead.

For Parents & Families: Building Connection and Confidence

In my work with children, I’ve found that it’s just as important to build strong supports for the parents as it is for the kids. After all, you’re the ones in the house when the big moments happen, and you deserve to feel supported, too.

Whether we’re doing dynamic family work together or I’m supporting you one-on-one in your parenting efforts, we’ll work on everything from tackling the guilt and shame, to decoding the "why" of morning meltdowns, to finding strategies that actually stick and can support your child at home and in school.

02.

For Adults: Unmasking & Healing

For my fellow late-diagnosed or high-masking humans, therapy shouldn’t be another place where you have to "perform." I offer a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed space where we move beyond surface-level hacks and into the deep, embodied work of honoring your unique operating system.

Together, we’ll work with your neurobiology, not against it, to quiet the internal noise and build a sense of self-trust that doesn’t require you to abandon yourself to fit in.” Using IFS and EMDR, we’ll externalize the shame and release the pain and "shoulds" of the past, helping you build meaningful, authentic connections and move through the world with greater clarity, confidence, and felt safety.

Why the name Sage Peak?

Sage Peak is a way of understanding the messy, meaningful process of becoming who you are. Sage represents the powerful, inner wisdom within each of us. The kind of authentic self-trust that emerges when we begin to shed old roles, expectations, and masks. Peak is both a nod to the Colorado mountains and a reflection of the human experience.

Growth, whether in childhood, parenting, or adulthood, is rarely linear. It’s a climb filled with steep switchbacks, moments of uncertainty, and stretches that ask more of us than we feel ready to give. And yet, it’s often those very climbs that lead to the most expansive, breathtaking perspectives.
